Background and aim: Bullying is one of the most common phenomena among students around the world. In fact, bullying is the background of school violence. The aim of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of an empathy program on academic passion and feelings of loneliness in bullied female students. Method: The semi-experimental research method had a pre-test and a post-test with a control group. The statistical population of the research included female students of the first secondary school in Ahar City in the academic year of 2022. Using the random sampling method, 30 volunteers were selected to participate in the research and were divided into two experimental and control groups which were randomly assigned. The research tools were questionnaires. Using the empathy skill training program, the experimental group was trained in eight sessions. Results: The results of the research show that the empathy program can be used to reduce violence in bullying students and help students who are victims of bullying. Also, the use of this program leads to the improvement of students' academic passion. Conclusion: According to the effectiveness of the empathy program on academic passion and feelings of loneliness in bullied female students, this program is recommended for this group of people and other aggressive behaviors.
