The effectiveness of origami training on self-concept and social skills and shyness of children with cerebral palsy in the first and second grade of elementary school

Objective: The purpose of this research was the effectiveness of origami training on self-concept and social skills and shyness of children with cerebral palsy in the first and second grades of elementary school. Method:               The research method was single case design with follow-up.The statistical population of this research included all children with cerebral palsy referred to )Dastan sabz yazdan) Charity organization in Isfahan city in 1402-1403 , of which seven people were selected through targeted and accessible sampling. The self-concept questionnaires of Pierce-Harris (1969), Matson's social skills (1983) and shyness of Cheek and Briggs (1990) were used to investigate. the clients were tested for 3 sessions to measure the baseline, and the variables were measured in 3 sessions of the intervention. One month after the end of the intervention, the clients underwent a follow-up test. data were analyzed using visual analysis of graphs and also using within-situational and between-situational analysis. Resulte: The research hypothesis that origami training improves self-concept, social skills and shyness of children with cerebral palsy in the first and second grades of elementary school was confirmed. conclusion: it is suggested that counselors and... use origami training to improve the self-concept, social skills and shyness of children with cerebral palsy in the first and second grade of elementary school.
