The present research is aimed at comparing the learning disabled and normal children concerning their perceptual manners in Rorschach test, also studying the capabilities of this test in identification and clinical diagnosis of children with learning disabilities. The san1ple consisted of 23 children with learning disabilities (8 children with dyslexia, 8 with dysgraphia and 7 with dyscalculia) as the main group and 23 nornrnl children as the control group, whose age ranged 9-13 years and were students of primary school in grades 3 to 5. After administration of Rorschach test on subjects and scoring their responses using Rorschach method, the obtained results for the two groups were compared. The comparisons indicated that the performance of children with learning disability in Rorschach are characterized by: Considerably low frequency of responses(R), high frequency of simple global responses(C), decrease in number of large detail responses(D), increased number of small detail responses (Dd), presence of pure color responses(C) and blood responses(Blood), increased number of common responses (Ban) and rejection of the card. Perceptually, these characteristics are indicative of limited perception and lack of attention to the details, global and monotonous perception of the phenomena and concrete thinking. Clinically, these features show stereotypical perception, inattentiveness to concrete issues, unidimensional thinking. Affeectivc suppressions, impulsive behavior. inability in emotional control. psychological conflicts, tendency to conformity and receiving social approval and susceptibleness of emotional disorders.
