The present study was conducted to determine the effect of PECS treatment on social skills, repetitive behaviors, and behavioral problems in children with mild autism in 2023.. Method: The study was conducted in accordance with the applied objective and its method is a quasi-experimental study with a two-group experimental design. The statistical population of this study includes 2- to 7-year-old boys and girls with mild autistic disorders in Tehran, Shayan Clinic in 1402, from which 30 sample members were selected through a convenient method and according to the study entry and exit criteria And they were randomly divided into two experimental groups: Lego therapy and Pecs therapy (15 people in each group). 12 training sessions were conducted for the Lego therapy group and 25 training sessions were conducted for the Pecs therapy group. The results showed that Lego therapy and Pecs therapy were effective in increasing social skills and reducing repetitive behaviors in children with mild autism disorder, and were not effective only on their behavioral problems. On the other hand, Lego therapy was more effective in reducing stereotyped and repetitive behaviors in children with autism compared to PECS therapy, and the two aforementioned treatment methods did not differ in the rate of reduction in behavioral problems and social skills.
