Objective: The present study was conducted with the aim of evaluating the diagnostic validity of WISC-5 in children with intellectual disability. Method: The present study was conducted by using two methods of diagnostic validity: Scattered Point Diagram and Confidence Interval. The statistical population included all the children with intellectual disability in Islamshahr, which among them, 30 children with intellectual disability were selected, using the purposeful and targeted sampling method. The research instrument was the fifth edition of Wechsler Intelligence Scales for children. Results: The results showed that tests related to verbal Comprehension, visual-spatial Comprehension, fluid Reasoning, Working Memory and Processing Speed scales with Scattered Point Diagram and Confidence Interval methods have diagnostic validity. Conclusion: Tests related to all scales can show good utility in diagnosing children with mental disabilities and distinguish them from normal children
