fa ارتباط وضعیت تحصیلی با وضعیت تغذیه‌ای دانش‌آموزان کم‌توان ذهنی شهر تهران تخصصي Special كاربردي Applicable <span style="font-family:b yagut;"><span style="font-size:14.0pt;">هدف از انجام این تحقیق تعیین سوء‌تغذیه در دانش‌آموزان کم‌توان ذهنی شهر تهران و همچنین بررسی ارتباط بین وضعیت تحصیلی با وضعیت تغذیه‌ای این دسته از دانش‌آموزان بوده است. به همین منظور 10% از جمیعت دانش‌آموزی تعدادی از مراکز آموزش استثنایی ویژه کودکان کم‌توان ذهنی که از نظر جغرافیایی در نقاط مختلف شهر تهران قرار داشته‌اند، به عنوان نمونه مطالعاتی انتخاب شدند. مقادیر مربوط به انسان‌سنجی جسمانی (تن‌سنجی) دانش‌آموزان براساس روش استاندارد در مدارس تعیین شد، آنگاه با استفاده از نرم‌افزار </span></span><span dir="LTR">EPI</span><span style="font-family:b yagut;"><span style="font-size:14.0pt;"> و به منظور مشخص شدن وضعیت سوء‌تغذیه، داده‌ها مورد پردازش قرار گرفت. در این پژوهش از معدل ثلث اول به عنوان شاخص تعیین وضعیت تحصیلی استفاده شده است. نتایج این بررسی نشان داد که 3/43% از دانش‌آموزان دچار سوء‌تغذیه زمان گذشته و 3/30% دچار سوء‌تغذیه زمان حال بودند. 8/18% از دانش‌آموزان نیز به نوعی چاق و یا دچار اضافه وزن بودند. از نظر آماری اختلاف میانگین معدل ثلث اول دانش‌آموزانی که مبتلا به سوء‌تغذیه زمان گذشته بودند، با آنهایی که از این نظر سالم بودند، معنی‌دار بود (01/0 </span></span><span dir="LTR">P<</span><span style="font-family:b yagut;"><span style="font-size:14.0pt;">). در پایان با توجه به معیار جهانی که توسط سازمان جهانی بهداشت ارائه شده می‌توان ابتلا به سوء‌تغذیه را بعنوان یکی از مشکلات مهم بهداشتی دانش‌آموزان کم‌توان ذهنی شهر تهران معرفی نمود.</span></span><br> <br> &nbsp; <strong>The Relationship between Academic Achievement and Nutritional Status in Mentally Retarded Students of Tehran</strong><br> &nbsp;<br> Mostafa Nachvak, M.Sc.<a href="#_ftn1" name="_ftnref1" title=""><span dir="RTL">*</span></a><br> The aim of this study is to determine the existence of malnutrition and its relationship with academic achievement in the mentally retarded students of Tehran. The sample consisted of %10 of the students from the special schools for mentally retarded children from different districts of Tehran. In order to identify the nutritional status and the existence of malnutrition, the anthropometric findings of the subjects based on standard methods, were processed using EPI software. In this research, the mean scores of the school subjects in the first term were used as an index for identifying the academic achievement of the subjects. The results show that %43.3 of the subjects had suffered from malnutrition in the past, %30.3 are still suffering from it and %18.8 of subjects have some kind of obesity or are over- weight. There is a significant difference between the means of academic achievement in two groups of subjects, one with malnutrition in the past and the other with good nutrition (P<0.01).
